At Brondesbury Sports Club
You’ll always get a game as a member of our club. Whatever your age or standard we will ensure you find a way of fitting in and finding people to play with. Saturday afternoon (1-3pm) and Sunday mornings are club times, when everyone mixes in. The section has over 500 members including over 200 juniors.
Monday–Friday: 7:00am – 9:30pm
Saturday–Sunday: 8:00am – 9:30pm
No need to pre-arrange games – just turn up and mix in!
• Tuesday & Thursday (from 12:30pm) – Come & Play
• Saturday (1–3pm) – Club Mix-In
• Sunday mornings (10am–12pm) – Club Mix-In
Floodlighting is available on all courts. They can be turned on from inside the Tennis Pavilion, with separate switches for courts 1-3 (on the left) and 4-7 (on the right). Please be aware they are costly to run, so do turn them off when no longer needed.
There is no booking system for courts. Just turn up and play!
Do check the calendar for any restrictions on court availability.
At All Times:
If people are waiting to play because no courts are available you must vacate your court at the end of the set or after 30 minutes. If you are playing singles and people are waiting you must immediately invite two of those waiting to join you in a doubles. It is against the club spirit to fail to do so.
At Club Times:
If people are waiting then at the end of the set you must reform your doubles group so that those waiting are included in the next set. This is extremely important as these times are how some new members find their way into play at the club. This is especially key as we have many new members each year.
Our general Code of Conduct document is available here, along with all our other policy documents.
